You will work closely with experienced engineers and supporting technical staff to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients, provide an escalation point for incidents and requests, and be a champion of the our core values.

About the role

The successful candidate will have the ability to capture new clients, build strong relationships and drive sustainable financial growth in selling hardware and IT solutions in the Education, Government and Corporate sectors. This role will also involve account management and up-selling services to existing clients. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Strong knowledge of Education, Local Government and Corporate markets
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Writing business proposals, assessing and responding to tenders
  • Negotiating with stakeholders
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients, Int Tec Solutions Executives and/or Services teams
  • Developing growth strategies and plans

Key Requirements

  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Accountable for revenue growth, customer NPS and exceeding target expectations
  • Build and manage strong long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Design and build suitable IT solutions to meet customer requirements – including cloud, mobile device management (MDM) and mobile applications
  • Create quotes and proposals for customer requirements and build sales pipelines

About you

  • Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or similar role
  • Strong Understanding of the target markets and the unique products and services that can be delivered.
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with high-level negotiations, creating quotes and designing customer specific solutions
  • Proven track record in converting sales leads and selling IT solutions – including VMWare, infrastructure, cloud, MDM services, mobile devices (Apple, Android and Windows)
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in customer support
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • High-level communication & Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with implementation of the company sales strategy
  • Ability to manage issues and conflict to a constructive outcome
  • The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets
